God is Amazing!!! Let Us Now Offer Our Prayer of Thanksgiving

“But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’ Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” James 4:6-7

Everything associated with this watershed election has seen the hand of God. In humility and trust, we called out to God and He has been faithful.

Let’s review …

On August 15 (Feast of the Assumption), we joined together with tens of thousands of people from around the country, as we began our 54 Day Novena for Our Nation. The next day, the Trump camp announced they had completely revamped their campaign with the hire of Kellyanne Conway (a devout Catholic, btw). This means the decision was made the day prior … Day One of our Novena.

On October 7 (Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary), we concluded the Novena for Our Nation. That same day, the Wikileaks began, revealing the hidden corruption, collusion and deceit of our country’s elites.

Also, on that same day, the devil lashed back with the Access Hollywood video. One could say – and I am in this camp – that it was a “humbling moment” for Trump (something I am guessing God felt he needed).

When all seemed lost, as BigMedia hammered the Access Hollywood story, and polls were fading away, many prayed the St. Jude Novena from October 20-28.

On October 28, the FBI reopened the investigation on HRC. This caused the radical shift in the polls we witnessed. This was the Feast of St. Jude, the patron saint of lost causes.

In the final nine days, we prayed the “National Novena” with the Knights of Columbus, and a light continued to be shone, daily, on the “Elite Corruption Machine.”

Prayer *does* matter!! God *is* the God of miracles!! We must never lose sight of that!!

And so it would follow that the perfect prayer of Thanksgiving would, literally, be handed to us by God. As the polls closed last night, priests, religious and all those with a devotion to the Liturgy of the Hours, were praying Psalm 138. What better Prayer of Thanksgiving could we ever find?

Please pray this prayer of Thanksgiving. Please consider adding it to your prayers, especially upon receiving God’s answer to your petition(s).

PSALM 138

I thank you, Lord, with all my heart,
you have heard the words of my mouth.
In the presence of the angels I will bless you.
I will adore before your holy temple.

I thank you for your faithfulness and love
which excel all we ever knew of you.
On the day I called, you answered;
you increased the strength of my soul.

All earth’s kings shall thank you
when they hear the words of your mouth.
They shall sing of the Lord’s ways:
“How great is the glory of the Lord!”

The Lord is high yet he looks on the lowly
and the haughty he knows from afar.
Though I walk in the midst of affliction
you give me life and frustrate my foes.

You stretch out your hand and save me,
your hand will do all things for me.
Your love, O Lord, is eternal,
discard not the work of your hands.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now,
and will be for ever. Amen.
