God’s Amazing!! A Really Cool Nineveh 90 God-Incident

Sometimes things happen and you just know it is more than a coincidence, but a God-incident.

For those who prayed the 54-Day Novena for Our Nation, you will recall how events and dates seemed to miraculously coincide with each other as we prayed together. You can read about it HERE. Now, as we prepare for Nineveh 90, I wondered if God might continue confirming our efforts with these kinds of miracles.

As Nineveh 90 began to formulate, I must admit I was watching for something like this. When I realized that 90 days would place our start date at February 13, I looked around for any significant saints or historic events or anything that might make February 13 somehow significant, in God’s eyes. I really could not find anything, and just figured God would show me in His time.

Then a friend, just yesterday, brought something very special to my attention.

Recall that the central figure in the apparitions of Our Lady is Sr. Lucia. Between May and October 1917, Lúcia and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto reported visions of a luminous lady, who they believed to be the Virgin Mary, in the Cova da Iria fields outside the hamlet of Aljustrel, near Fátima, Portugal. The children said the visitations took place on the 13th day of each month at approximately noon, for six straight months. Jacinta and Francisco died in their youth, so Lucia remained, and would receive further visitations from Our Lady.

Since Sr. Lucia’s cause for beatification remains in process, she would not yet be registered among the blesseds and the saints. But, it was a friend of mine who discovered, and shared with me, that the date of Sr. Lucia’s death, or birth into heaven – which will likely be named as her Feast Day – is February 13. WOW!!

Once again, God confirms what He delights in!!
